Employee Experience - HR Initiatives
Intelsat is one of the world’s largest integrated satellite network companies. My client initially hired me to support the company’s HR initiatives focused on Performance Management and an iPeople implementation. Because of the mutual trust, transparency and collaboration that quickly developed, my scope increased significantly.
Below are only a few examples of the variety of engagements I delivered for the client. These ranged from developing new competency-based employee profiles to DEI storytelling and messaging, supporting CEO communication, and designing and delivering a global all-employee inclusion event.

Intelsat's Performance Management initiative included a focus on people managers. I developed and executed a communications strategy and plan along with drafting a corporate narrative that was leveraged globally. I also conducted a web audit of its current digital landscape; and then designed and developed all content creation for a new people manager focused webpage using Unily. In addition to writing all related executive communication, I created a number of custom artifacts including a self-reflection tool for people managers.

I supported Intelsat's Chief DEI Officer in the launch of the organization's DEI strategy and ERG (Employee Resource Group) networks. This included everything from developing and executing the brand vision and mission, marcom activities, events, employee surveys, dedicated web pages, Teams channels and video production.

The Women of Intelsat ERG sponsored an all-employee Inclusion event. I took the lead as both marcom and project management expert from creative inception to post-event reflections for this 2,000 person global event.

A continuation of artifacts for Intelsat's Inclusion event included the program logistics (workback schedule, budget, run of show, catering proposals, etc.). Examples of content development also include executive and speaker briefs and scripts.
